After the tragic events of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix the HP fanfiction world was in an uproar. Websites, Livejournal communities, fanfic challenges... the entire world seemed dedicated to carry on the memory of Sirius Black.

Kait and Nicole, however, were only two somewhat crazy fanfiction writers with no standing the R/S community. They didn't know what THEY could possibly do to honor Sirius' memory. Besides cry a lot. And write stories.

So stories were written and submitted to Fill In the Blanks and angst was... angsted. And the writing, they realized, fit together. A rather strange habit of theirs, sharing a brain, but it happened sometimes and upon reading over the stories and listing their other ideas they realized that their stories formed a sort of sequence of the events of OotP in their minds. Pretty cool.

This presented a new problem, as both girls kept writing and things started to get confusing if one hadn't read the previous stories by BOTH authors. So one night, as Kait sighed and started the preamble to her latest fic by listing five differnt URLs to be read in conjunction with her new story, she realized... duh. She should just archive all of them together. And so she did. Below, as you can see.

The Heading "The Project" is a side project from all of this, a list of 51 songs (3 mix CDs consisting of 17 songs each) that fit the ending of the book and the emotions of Remus and Sirius. The lyrics are linked. More to come on that, maybe. Maybe not. We'll see.
