I'm only blogging because of Renata's comment. I just want to save the kittens!
Not a lot has been goin on here, I'm excited about my birthday coming up in two weeks though! Two weeks! I'll be 22! Woot! I have no idea what I'm actually going to do for my birthday... Cal and I discussed having a party at Studio on valentines day (since it'll be my actual birthday, and a tuesday so we'd mostly have the bar to ourselves), but that's dependent on whether or not i have enough friends who would come. Otherwise I might have people over to my apartment for wine and like... appetizers or something... Or, just get a bunch of people to go out with me the weekend after my birthday. Or something.
But, really, if you are one of my friends who reads this and never comments (like CAL), then you should comment or im me or something and give me input on what you think i should do for my birthday. I'm up for anything, i just want to have the festivities on an evening when everyone can have fun, and won't just be stopping by for a minute before studying or something. I'm thinking maybe having a birthday dinner somewhere some night that week... I'll prolly go out with my parents on my actual birthday... Just cuz i hate going to dinner on my birthday because it's FREAKING VALENTINES DAY, and everyone's out being all lovey. blaaah.
Also, I haven't been downtown in MONTHS, and i'm thinking i wanna go to the piano lounge sometime soon for martinis. so, if you would like to accompany me to the piano lounge, call me, and we'll go! Also, people need to meet leela! she loves people, but i have no friends so she doesn't get to hang out with anyone ever. She really liked graham though, which was kind of surprising. i didn't think they would get along. leela was easily won over with some cheese... but i was genuinely surprised that graham wasn't just like "that's not a dog, it's a rat" ... which is how most guys react to her (they just aren't manly enough to admit that chihuahuas are awesome).
Tonight has been very drama filled. and for once, i actually DIDN'T say anything to bring it on myself. I'm the first to admit that i'm a horrible gossip... but for once, i didn't do anything! yet, the drama hast begun. oh well. It's really not my problem, and i have MUCH bigger things on my mind that people flipping out about absolutely nothing. So, i'm off to play with my puppy and go to bed. see, I was going to give leela a bath last night but i didn't. so, i'm gonna do that now and GO TO BED. because somehow it got to be really late.

Holy crackers, Leela is cute!! I am hoping I get to meet her. I will be in town for the ten minute play festival on saturday so maybe i could meet her sometime on that day. I have auditions for midsummer's night dream at some point this week, so i will have to let you know if they are on saturday at all. But yeah, i will give you a call, maybe we could hook up and i could meet the Leela-nator. I have a feeling i'm going to fall in love and want one.
